These Terms of Service ("Terms") contain important information about your rights and obligations. Please read them carefully before using our website [doctrip.eu] ("Website"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website. By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
The terms "DocTrip" and "we" refer to ZIUZEA LLC, which provides the services defined below via the Website.
Our Privacy Notice describes our collection and use of personal data connected to your Website use.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Finance Policy, Review & Comment Policy, and Privacy Notice, constitute a legally binding agreement between our users — patients, their attendants, Website visitors ("users"), and DocTrip, which regulates your use of the Website.
By using the Website, you declare and warrant that:
You have read these Terms, understand their content, and agree to comply with them in full.
You have the full legal capacity, and the legislation of your country does not restrict you from using the Website.
You have and will continuously comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
Services
In brief: On the Website, you can find information about medical travel services, clinics, tours, stays, and car rentals. We connect users to medical centers, provide tour arrangements, accommodation options, and car rental services.
Our Services
The Website is a platform that provides users with information about medical travel services, clinics, and various attractions ("Clinics" or "Medical Centers").
On the Website, you can:
- Find information about Medical Centers, their medical professionals, and the services they provide.
- Get a consultation from our coordinator about Clinics and how to set up appointments.
- Get help choosing the best medical solution for you from our partner clinic.
- Receive an individual treatment program from our partner clinic.
- Set up a visit to the medical center of your choice.
- Pay a deposit for appointments you made.
- Order and process the prepayment option where it is available for the particular set of medical services of the Clinics.
- Order a "Second Opinion."
- Book tours and stay accommodations.
- Rent a car for your travel needs.
DocTrip does not assign users to a specific Clinic or doctor but provides a list based on their request. We do our best to help you find the best option based on your language, country, medical need, financial preferences, and other circumstances. In addition, we connect DocTrip users with the selected Clinic, support during communication with it, help with visit arrangements for medical services, and provide support even after returning home. During your interaction with the Website, you are supported by DocTrip coordinators.
DocTrip is not a representative of the Clinics and does not guarantee the quality of their services and specialization. We are not an intermediary between the patient and Medical Centers, nor do we provide medical services ourselves.
WE ARE NOT A LICENSED MEDICAL CARE PROVIDER, AND NONE OF OUR SERVICES OR APPLICATIONS IS INTENDED TO REPLACE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR DIAGNOSE, TREAT, OR MANAGE ANY ILLNESS OR MEDICAL CONDITION.
We cooperate with Medical Centers under relevant agreements directly or through our business partners.
NEVER DISREGARD PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR DELAY IN SEEKING IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU HAVE READ IN CONNECTION WITH OUR SERVICES. ALWAYS CONSULT WITH YOUR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR CONDITION OR EXPERIENCE ANY CHANGES IN YOUR CONDITION OR HEALTH STATUS. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR GO TO THE NEAREST OPEN EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY.
Deposit Payment Terms
You have to pay a deposit to confirm an appointment for your visit to the Medical Center. The deposit amount can vary varay , depending on the currency of your location. The confirmation deposit is necessary to ensure your arrival at the Medical Center. By its legal nature, the deposit is a payment for our services, but the Clinics will decrease the treatment price by the amount of the deposit you made. As a result, with DocTrip, you will pay no more than if you would contact a clinic directly. Still, the deposit is not a payment for the ordered medical services.
The medical services are paid under the relevant invoices issued by the Medical Centers on terms as each Medical Center may provide unless otherwise provided herein. You can pay a deposit by using your Account and a third-party payment services provider. When you use third-party payment services, you are subject to other terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for the processing of your personal data by such a third-party provider. You can request a refund of the deposit by email at [DocTrip Billing Email], but no later than 10 days before the appointment date. It will be returned within 30 days of your timely request. If you fail to comply with that term, we will not refund you.
Prepayment Options
As an additional option and where available, you may choose to make a full prepayment for the medical services of the Clinics. In such cases, you would pay for the particular set of medical services of the Clinic in advance. However, the Clinic will be entitled to receive the funds only after the prepaid medical services are duly provided for you. Please note that, in such cases, third-party payment providers may be involved in the collection of the funds.
Please note that the terms of refunds are also applicable for the cases of the prepayments provided in this section. Also, prepayments and refunds are not available for Visa or Mastercard owners from the Republic of Cuba, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Sudan, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Second Opinion
The Clinics' doctors can provide a "Second Opinion" service at your request on the Website. The Second Opinion provided by the Clinics includes an assessment of the patient’s past and present health status, a medical history analysis, and the drafting of a plan for diagnosis and treatment, which the Clinics’ representatives prepare.
By ordering a Second Opinion, you agree that:
- The diagnosis provided is limited and conditional.
- A Second Opinion shall not be considered as a substitute for a complete physical examination or a personal visit to a doctor.
- The doctor providing the service may not have all the information about your health status, which is usually obtained by a personal examination.
- The absence of a personal examination can affect the specialist’s ability to diagnose a status, illness, or injury.
- You can provide medical materials on behalf of a third party if you notify DocTrip in advance about one of the following circumstances by providing adequate documentary evidence that:
Such a third party is a member of your family.
- You have obtained the prior consent of such third party for his/her representation.
- Such a third party cannot independently submit a request via the Website.
- Upon receipt of all the necessary information, DocTrip will provide a list of potential Clinics on the Website. The Clinic may request that we request from you and/or provide any missing information. We will send you a Second Opinion by encrypted email within a few business days after receiving complete documentation from your side.
Please note! We use appropriate security measures (end-to-end encryption, secure communication protocols, etc.) to process your personal data, including medical data.
Clinics’ Selection
We receive requests from clinics to add information about them to the Website. We carefully check each piece to comply with our criteria to provide you with only the best options. During the clinics’ selection, we take into account:
- The doctors’ qualifications:
- Education and special training programs.
- Work experience.
- Licenses and certificates.
- Membership in professional associations and international communities (ISAPS, ASPS, EURAPS, EORTC, etc.).
- Internships and qualification improvement in clinics abroad.
- Scientific activity – studies, publications, specialized events’ participation.
- Awards and grants.
Clinic’s level:
- International treatment protocols compliance.
- Accreditation from reputable international organizations in the healthcare sphere (JCI, ISO, ESMO, EFQM, etc.).
- Certificates from independent audit companies and rating agencies (TOP Focus, TÜV, TEMOS, etc.).
- Clinic’s material and technical base:
- Modern, the most efficient and safe equipment.
-Own laboratories.
- The newest materials’ use (prostheses, implants, etc.).
- The innovative treatments’ availability.
- Clinical studies’ participation.
- The training centers’ availability.
- The speed of the Medical Center’s response to patient requests.
Service level for foreign patients:
- Availability of a special medical coordinator, translator.
- Transfer.
- Accommodation in clinics’ partner hotels at special prices.
- Visa obtaining assistance, etc.
- The patients’ opinion about treatment in the Clinic on its website, and in the public domain on third-party review sites.
Information on the Website
Our goal is to provide the most objective information and help users get the best solution to their medical issues.
The information that you see on the Website is obtained directly from Medical Centers, or we collect from reliable, in our opinion, open sources. We try to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we do not guarantee it. Nothing on our Website should replace your own due diligence and research when selecting a linic or making decisions regarding medical care. We advise you to always seek professional medical advice and conduct thorough research before making any healthcare decisions.
Use of the Website
By using the Website, you agree to:
- Use the Website in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account, making appointments, or utilizing any services offered on the Website.
- Refrain from using the Website to engage in any unlawful activities or solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of DocTrip or others.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of others and not upload or distribute any content that infringes on any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Not use the Website to transmit any harmful, offensive, or objectionable content, including, but not limited to, viruses, malware, or other destructive codes.

Indemnification

Termination
